Shelly and I have been married for 21 years. We have two sons...Mike 20
and Kyle 15. We laugh a lot and truly enjoy each others company, a must for close quarters camping. We have been
camping together as a family since 1987, and bought our first popup camper in August of 2001.
Shelly and I grew up in the same city in Michigan...that's right, we were highschool sweethearts. Well, more or less...I
was two years out of highschool and in college, and we dated while she was in her senior year.
We now live in central Ohio. I am a System Manager with Motorola and Shelly works for Lifecare Alliance as a pantry
coordinator for HIV and AIDS patients. We moved to Ohio from Michigan in 1994. That first move was to Cincinnati, and
then we moved north to central Ohio in 1997. And yes, we're Buckeye fans!
Our oldest son Mike works full time and is pursuing a degree in computer networking at ITT Technical Institute.
Needless to say, Mike is pretty darn busy and doesn't camp with us too much anymore.
Our youngest son Kyle is carrying on the family tradition, playing baritone in band just like his older brother and
his old man. He's on the ski club at school. He loves to swim...can barely get him out of the pool or
lake when camping. He makes us real proud and has a great sense of humor.

Other Interests
We are serious do-it-yourselfers. I am also into vintage VW's, and have just recently acquired a pinball machine
which we are rehabbing. Shelly and I are both into music. Our main "other interest" is doing everything possible to
ensure our boys will be well balanced and productive members of society. Camping is a big part of that...showing them that
life is more than just the daily grind, if you're willing to take the time and look.
